Mourning Session - Chapter 261 SPOILERS - In Loving Memory of the Honored One

 

Hi, my fellow mourners...

Today, I wanna share my comments on Gojo Satoru, his character develepment, his life and his death. I wish at least dying would be the end but no, Gege didin't even respect his body and used it as a device again. That's why I felt the deepest sorrow for him and decided to write this.

First of all, Gojo was too strong. Such a strong, good character woudn't let MC or the other students improve cuz he can solve all the problems all by himself. That's why we couldn't see him around since the beginning. In the end it was inevitable for him to die cuz you can't find excuses all the time to send him away such as "went on a mission" "he is  in the other battlefield" "sealed"... When the MC is strong enough then he doesn't need a protector to shine.

So I was sad but okay cuz it was rational and a bitter but somehow correct choice for the story. 

But what hurts me the most is his body not being respected and Gege messing with us in the end of the chapter 260. We all was hopeful somehow and finally he turned on a light. I coudn't trust him and was nervously waiting if it was real for real. But of course no! Gege used his -beloved for us- dead body, turned him into a puppet after he sacrificed himself for everyone while they were literally watching like a movie. (fine we wanted to see Sukuna vs Gojo since the first episode but still it hurts when you see his death. There was no need for such a gambling. But this also is rational cuz Gojo himself trusted himself too much and didn't want help from others. But he never needed someone in his life so it must be difficult for him to ask.)

Anyways, Gojo was a weapon and they didn't even hold back to use his dead body. If there is such a way to use then we can't blame the characters but still Gege could have find some other ways. But he likes hurting the reader. When the reader is hurt then the story is most likely would stay in his/her heart longer than a not sad story. 

Help- All these choices are rational to me and I think the same way with the creator but still,  it hurts. I feel like Tolstoy when he cried for days after he killed his MC. Gege wouldn't cry, for Gojo at least. Perhaps he did for Toji and will definitely for Sukuna. 

Think about Gojo's life. He had a lonely and strict childhood. Can anyone even be a child with the great responsibity of being the strongest? Of course no. That's probably the reason he acted childish after he met Suguru and till the day he died. The first years of his highschool was the only time he was truly happy. Gege let him find happiness just because to make him feel the sorrow of losting it. He had to kill the source of his happiness, Suguru with his own hands... Then became a teacher but the students can only be like his sons-daughters at most. All alone except for 2-3 years. Nobody else understood him but Suguru... The worst part is that not many people loved him. Everybody, even the ones who loves him, saw adn still see him as the strongest weapon. I believe these are only ones that loved him sincerely: Suguru, Megumi, Yuta, İtadori and perhaps Shoko a little. Gojo was upset to see Shoko accepted to use his body after his possible death. 

He deserved to be loved and be cared about by the people around him. 

I know that he is not a real person. But that's why it is impossible for our love to reach him. So, even if it's fictional, I at least want the other characters around him to value him. But he couldn't recieve this. 

Such a hard and lonely life... He had to find the happiness in the afterlife...

Even though they are using even your body like they did to you all your life, rest in peace Satoru, the hero.
